Serving Our Community
Our physicians are proud to serve our community by volunteering at Destiny Shepherd's Hope Health Center and the Mark Dogoli, M.D. Medical Center.
Many primary care and family practice services are offered to patients free of charge; diagnostic testing and medications are available at reduced costs. Free medical services may include primary care, management of chronic conditions, lifestyle/nutrition education and general health education, health screenings, physical exams and preventative care, referrals for social services, and referrals for specialty care. For subsidized diagnostic screenings, charges are typically under $20. When available, medications are provided free of charge.
Patients who are eligible for services through Destiny Shepherd's Hope have income at or below 200% of the poverty level, are uninsured and not eligible for government assisted health care programs.
To be eligible for care at the Mark Dogoli Medical Center, patients must be more than 6 years old, uninsured and not covered by Medicare or Medicaid; and their family income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. Trained volunteers are present at the center to ensure that patients meet the eligibility criteria.
